Mission on the Green: Honoring Legacies and Supporting Recovery

At Missionovo, supporting our community is a way we manifest our “People First” value - it’s part of who we are. We're thrilled to share some highlights from recent charity tournaments where our teams teed off for some incredible causes.

Remembering Douglas J. Green

On Friday, July 25th, we had the honor of sponsoring the Douglas J. Green Memorial Charity Golf Tournament at Raspberry Falls Golf Club in Leesburg, VA. The event was held in memory of Douglas J. Green, whose legacy continues to inspire acts of service and generosity for our troops.

Missionovo showed up both in spirit and in person—with a sponsor donation and a team ready to play. Our foursome joined forces with Ryan and his long-time friends, who have faithfully supported the memorial foundation and Doug’s family year after year. It was a day filled with camaraderie, remembrance, and respect, reminding us of the powerful ways communities can come together in honor of those who’ve served.

Supporting Stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Survivors

Next up, on Wednesday, September 17th, Missionovo was thrilled to sponsor the 17th Annual Kalikie Classic Golf Tournament, benefiting the Stroke Comeback Center (SCC), also held at Raspberry Falls Golf Club in Leesburg, VA. Many of you will recognize the SCC from our Paddle Battle Charity Pickleball Tournament events, where 100% of ticket sales went directly to their mission. We’re now taking it from the courts to the course. 

The SCC is the only organization of its kind on the East Coast, offering long-term recovery programs that go beyond what insurance typically covers for stroke and TBI survivors. Their work helps individuals rebuild not just their skills, but their confidence and connection to life after injury—a mission we are deeply proud to champion. Despite the weather, spirits were high, and it was fantastic to contribute to such an important organization.

Looking Ahead: The Inaugural Kevin Mahorney Memorial Golf Tournament

We're excited to announce our support for a cause very close to our hearts. Missionovo is proud to be a sponsor of the upcoming inaugural Kevin Mahorney Memorial Golf Tournament at Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, VA on November 3rd.
